Engaging Staff in the Hospital's HRO Journey

About the Speaker:

Meredith Pelty is a Patient Safety Coordinator for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.  Before starting her career in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, Meredith worked as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery and as a Clinical Faculty member at UCLA School of Nursing. Prior to earning her MSN at UCLA, she worked as a pediatric pain researcher with oncology and sickle cell patients. Meredith’s background also includes a Master‘s and Doctorate in Psychology.  She specialized in severe mental illness, behavioral disorders, and learning disorders in children and adolescents. Her current role includes system administration for RL6 :Risk.
